ABACO contributes to FAO report on the State of Food and Nutrition 2022.
ABACO contributed to one of FAO’s major annual publications titled “The State of Food and Agriculture 2022,” providing one of 27 case studies that help examine different types of digital technology adoption in different agricultural production systems around the world.
This year’s report, titled “Leveraging agricultural automation for transforming agrifood systems,” is intended to highlight the importance of automation in the world of agriculture in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and more specifically the areas surrounding environmental sustainability and climate change.
